Home page for this section
You can return to 'Home' page for this section by

  • clicking anywhere in the Time Travelers banner, from any page.
  • clicking on "Nationalizing and Globalizing" in the upper navigation at top of page, from anywhere on the site.

Content Navigation:
Content is arranged in three Units, five weeks each. It is easy to navigate, and we encourage you to explore one week’s content to get familiar with the layout which we use in each week throughout the site.

There are two methods for entering the weekly content areas:

  • Hold your mouse on a Unit bar and choose your week from the drop-down menu, or
  • Click on the Unit bar, then click on the week you’d like to enter

Once you click on a week, you enter the ‘intro to week’ page and see a new sub-navigation bar featuring: Lecture; Maps & Cityscapes; Tribal Perspectives; People and the Humanities; and Research. We use these content areas to deliver course material.

Be sure to download the plug-ins located in the Toolbox icon on the ‘Home’ page for this section.
You will need these to use the course materials, including streaming video lectures and map viewing.

Additional Resources for Teachers
In the upper navigation at top of page, click on the "Teachers" tab, and enter this section. We will continue to develop this area of the website to make it easy for teachers to find additional resources in an organized format.
